This Privacy Policy applies to the Qubba mobile application ("Qubba", "we", "our", "us"). It explains what information is used when you use the app and how that information is handled.

1. Information we use

• Location data: If you allow location access, Qubba uses your device location to calculate prayer times, determine Qibla direction, and suggest suitable prayer calculation methods.
• App settings and preferences: Prayer settings, language, theme, selected city, reminder preferences, and cached prayer/calendar data are stored locally on your device.
• Notification settings: Qubba stores scheduled reminder information needed to trigger local prayer notifications.
• Advertising-related data: Qubba displays banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and ad-related signals according to Google's own policies.

2. How we use information

• Provide core functionality (prayer times, Qibla, calendar, Quran browsing).
• Schedule and manage prayer and reminder notifications.
• Maintain app preferences and offline cache on your device.
• Display in-app advertisements to support app operations.

3. Data sharing and third-party services

Qubba does not provide a user account system and does not run a dedicated backend for storing personal profiles. Some features call third-party providers directly from your device:

4. Data retention

Settings and cached data remain on your device until you clear app data, reset settings, or uninstall the app. Third-party providers may retain request logs under their own policies.

5. Permissions

• Location: used for location-based prayer times and Qibla features.
• Notifications: used to schedule prayer and reminder alerts.
• Motion/Sensor access: used to improve compass behavior for Qibla guidance.

6. Your choices

• You can deny location access and use manual city selection instead.
• You can disable notifications in app settings or system settings at any time.
• You can remove local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.

7. Children

Qubba is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review and address the request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
